The second season of Amazon Prime’s Modern Love filmed in Ireland and was directed by John Carney, bringing to life a collection of stories based on the New York Times column that explores relationships, love and the human connection.
High Res supplied, produced, integrated and operated two Virtual Production solutions on set for two episodes of the second series – ‘On a Serpentine Road’, a story based around a car with a large amount of car scenes, starring Minnie Driver, and ‘Strangers on a (Dublin) Train’, a story based mainly on a train journey, starring Kit Harington and Lucy Boynton.
Working closely with DOP John Conroy and Outer Limits Post Production, this was a really enjoyable and successful creative project that saw the use of LED Volumes to provide immersive and scenic in-camera backgrounds for both episodes of the series.
