RTÉ, in association with Comic Relief, brought together the cream of Irish comedy and entertainment to raise a laugh - as well as much-needed funds for the Irish charity sector during the difficult times of Covid-19.
As part of the TV show Hozier performed a stunning version of ‘Bridge over Troubled Water’ in the surroundings of an empty Croke Park, dedicating his performance to those who lost their lives during the Covid-19 crisis.
High Res were approached by RTE and Caroline Downey to deliver the creative intention of this performance. The creative brief required the stadium to be seen against the twinkling lights of Dublin with the stands lit showing the empty seats. Peter Canning acting as DP, selected to shoot at dusk, with a grade. The performance was shot in log and graded in Piranha Bar Dublin.
